Job Information

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules. 

Main Duties 

Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role.  Main tasks, Vacuuming, emptying Bins, damp wiping and Toilet cleaning & floor cleaning Work within a team and under their own initiative.  Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.  Ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.  Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order.  Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.  Always maintain security in ones area – locking doors,  and follow lost property procedures etc.   Have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.  Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance.  Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are always adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy.   Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.   To undertake any other related duties instructed by Line Manager.

Cleaning experience is preferred however training can be provided.  Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.  Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.  Capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate.  Be open and honest.  Be self-driven and determined.  Strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
