About the role

This is a Part Time opportunity; you must be available to work Monday - Friday 6.00am-10.00am

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff at the Woman’s & Children's Hospital. You’ll be responsible for a range of cleaning services while ensuring high standards of confidentiality, empathy, and courtesy. Key responsibilities

Perform a range of cleaning services including floor care, dusting and disinfecting areas to meet health and safety standards. Participate in the hospitals Infection Control Program, following established protocols Ensure that cleaning supplies are adequately stocked, and equipment is well maintained Respond promptly to service requests and maintain confidentiality and courtesy at all interactions

Qualifications

Higher School Certificate (preferred) Experience in cleaning within a healthcare environment or similar is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals and infections control principles.

Skills

Strong customer service and high attention to detail. Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in adhering to workplace health and safety practices.

Please note: As a pre-requisite for this role, successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical, as well as provide an up-to-date National Police Clearance and Working with Children certificate.
