Looking for a Permanent Part-Time Cleaning position with great hours and a supportive work environment?

Position: Cleaner
Pay Rate: $28.72 per hour plus Superannuation 
Location: Naval Capability Centre, Henderson
Hours: Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 10 AM (or up to 2 PM at the latest)

 

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Vacuuming and dusting office spaces
Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and dining areas
Maintaining ablution areas and showers

To be considered, you must:

Be an Australian Citizen Have a reliable vehicle and a full Driver’s License Be physically fit and able to kneel, lift, walk up and down stairs, perform the required cleaning tasks, and stand for 4 hours or more Successfully pass a medical assessment, as well as random drug and alcohol tests.

 

Special conditions
To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting 1 (Secret), hold a valid Australian driver’s license for both traveling to and moving around within the island, and undergo an Australian Federal Police check.
If you are hired by Ventia, you will need to obtain and maintain DCAC clearance, which will be initiated by the DBS Security team.
