Are you seeking a meaningful role where you can shine? CentraCare Monticello Hospital is looking for dedicated individuals to join our esteemed Environmental Services/Housekeeping team. As part of this team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, directly contributing to the quality of healthcare we provide. This is a fast-paced position.

Main Responsibilities

Clean patient rooms and common areas within the hospital, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. Interact courteously and professionally with patients and visitors while performing cleaning duties. Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms upon discharge. Handle cleaning chemicals and manage cleanup of bodily fluids safely and effectively.

Schedule

48 hours every two weeks.   1pm-9:30pm variable days during the week, every other weekend 8am-12pm, and rotating holidays.

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay is $16.34 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience. This position is benefits eligible. 

Qualifications 

Basic computer knowledge. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in reading and communicating effectively in English. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills.
