Find your purpose joining CentraCare and the St. Cloud Hospital as a Surgical EVS Lead (Operating Rooms Cleaning), working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean. We are seeking qualified applicants with good communication and leadership skills for Monday-Friday evening shifts. 

This is a fast-paced position that requires interacting and communicating with others while sanitizing patient rooms and public spaces throughout the operating rooms.

3 to 5 years of previous experience in commercial housekeeping or commercial cleaning is required. or Previous Leadership experience is required. (Prior work as a Lead/Supervisor/Manager) You will need to communicate fluently as you will have direct contact with patients, doctors, nurses and other staff members in our vital surgical wing. You will be required to wear Hospital Scrubs (pants) in this position.

 

Schedule:

Afternoon/Evenings 2:30pm - 11pm | 8-hour shifts  Full-time | 80 Hours every two weeks NO weekend/holiday rotation, “as-needed” only.

Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards):

Wage rates start at $17.75+ per hour, offering more with experience. Full wage scale for this role:  $16.59 - $24.92 After 3pm shift differential is + $1.50 per hour. Excellent comprehensive medical/dental benefits, PTO, life insurance, disability, Retirement and more! 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Environmental Services field and/or 3-5 years of previous Leadership experience. Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required. High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

 Duties:

Perform general cleaning tasks, including waste disposal, flooring and UV light machines as assigned. Act as Lead assisting in overseeing daily activities and coordinating/checking the work of others, but not as a Supervisor. Tasks include assisting Supervisors with rounding, inspections and audits, insuring quality of work is maintained for multiple assigned teams. Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.  PPE is required and provided to protect your health and safety!
