About the Role
BGIS is seeking a proactive and experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to lead cleaning services across high-profile client sites in Potts Point, Sydney CBD, and North Sydney. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, has a strong background in operations, and is passionate about delivering top-tier service quality.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll oversee daily cleaning operations, support and lead large teams, liaise directly with clients, and maintain service excellence across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple commercial and government sites Be on-site 5 days per week to lead teams and ensure smooth service delivery Build strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact Conduct site audits, inspections, and reporting to ensure quality standards are met Provide coaching, training, and performance support to cleaning staff Resolve service issues and client concerns promptly and professionally Prepare quotes for additional services and contribute to budget planning Monitor stock levels, rostering, WHS compliance, and team performanceAbout You:
Australian Citizenship required (due to client site security requirements) Proven experience managing cleaning operations across large or multi-site environments Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, client service, and organisational abilities Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and on-site full-time Valid driver’s licence and full working rights in AustraliaWhy Join BGIS?
