Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other designated areas.Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure a hygienic environment.Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces, equipment, and furniture.Empty and dispose of trash and medical waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor.Maintain a clean and organized cleaning supply room.Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient cleaning process.Adhere to all infection control and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a cleaning or custodial role, preferably in a healthcare setting.Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and equipment.Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.Willingness to undergo training on health and safety protocols.
