We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to help manage a team of cleaning staff alongside another team leader to maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.

You'll be responsible for planned and periodic cleaning and  ensure that the staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. Ensure work is in compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures, rules and guidelines. 

You'll monitor standards of cleanliness and the use of materials and order stocks as necessary. You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to the line manager where appropriate. 

A good knowledge for basic computer skills is essential.

You'll be required to cover when staff resources are low and plan all cleaning activities. 

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience. You will have good communication skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative.
