The purpose of the Events Cleaning Team Leader is to ensure the venue is cleaned and maintained and presented at the highest standard. The position is also responsible for the care taking of cleaning team and other cleaning duties within the AIS. 

Shift times can vary but generally they would be 3pm-11pm Monday to Friday with possible late evenings and weekend work to cover events – applicable shift loading will be applied in alignment with the Cleaning Award.

About you - what you will need to be successful:

Experience working in a professional cleaning capacity Demonstrated experience in leadership roles.  These positions require individuals with the willingness to work flexible hours and an ability to manage their own time to meet deadlines Effective communication skills Experience using commercial and/or industrial cleaning products and equipment essential  Proof of right to work in Australia (Passport/Australian Birth Certificate/valid visa) Be available from Monday to Friday with possible late evenings and weekend work to cover events. Own transport will be required due to possible late finishes.

Please Note – You must have or the ability to acquire a valid Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) & supply a valid National Police History Certificate.
