Job Title: Cleanroom Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cleanroom Technician to certify, service, and maintain clean rooms, ensuring optimal conditions for high-level laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for servicing, installing, and certifying equipment such as BSL3 Hepa Filter Banks, Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches, and Fume Hoods. This role involves conducting comprehensive checks including airborne particle counts, airflow and pressure measurements, temperature and humidity assessments, filter integrity checks, and surface contamination counts.

ResponsibilitiesCertify, service, and maintain clean rooms to ensure optimal laboratory conditions.Service, install, and certify BSL3 Hepa Filter Banks.Conduct airborne particle counts, airflow and pressure checks, temperature and humidity checks, filter integrity checks, and surface contamination counts.Service, install, and certify Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches, and Fume Hoods.Perform decontamination and repair of Biological Safety Cabinets.Operate and support within BSL1, BSL2, BSL3 Laboratories, and Clean Rooms.Essential SkillsMinimum 1 year of experience as a Cleanroom Certifier.Proficiency in conducting airborne particle counts, airflow and pressure measurements, and temperature and humidity assessments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsUSP 797 Certification is a plus.Work Environment

This position is based in a lab environment, primarily working within cleanrooms and laboratories across the OSU and Nationwide Children's Hospital campuses. The technician will operate in GMP environments, ensuring adherence to high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
