Seeking an experienced FPGA design and verification engineer to perform firmware design, analysis, and verification tasks, including collaboration on hardware development for digital signal processing projects.
Job Requirements:Experience in FPGA/firmware architecture and design.
Proficiency in System Verilog, C, C++, and MATLAB.
General knowledge of standard test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Knowledge and exposure to hardware design.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) experience.
Active Secret Clearance required at start.
Key Responsibilities:Perform FPGA design, verification, and firmware architecture activities.
Design, program, debug, and modify embedded firmware code for IC applications.
Work with analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.
Conduct design architecture activities for various programs and IRAD projects.
Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to complete development, simulation, and verification for processing projects.
Support Integrated Product Teams, Engineering Project Managers, and Program Office staff to achieve program milestones and customer objectives.
Preferred Skills:Experience programming in machine language, assembly language, and high-level languages (e.g., System Verilog, VHDL, C, C++).
Familiarity with digital signal processing and troubleshooting code for firmware applications.
