Are you a forward-thinking DevOps professional eager to streamline and optimize development pipelines? Join our team as a Jr. DevOps Engineer, where you'll support mission-critical operations for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency. You’ll design and manage robust CI/CD pipelines, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure reliable deployment of cutting-edge solutions in secure environments. This role is on site in Quantico, VA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications and services. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth integration of new technologies and processes. Optimize build and release processes for efficiency, reliability, and scalability in on-premises and cloud environments. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of systems and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues to minimize downtime. Maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices, ensuring system security and integrity. Assist in migrating workloads to cloud platforms while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Create and maintain detailed documentation of deployment processes, system configurations, and operational workflows.

Required Skills / Experience:  

Experience in DevOps engineering, including supporting large-scale environments. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline. Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. Experience supporting systems for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency or similar organizations. Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana. Familiarity with IT service management tools like Atlassian, ServiceNow, or Ivanti.

 **This position is onsite in Quantico, VA 5 days a week. **

The proposed salary for this position is:$95,500—$159,200 USD
