Cleared Senior Solution Architect - Public Sector - UK
As an Account Solution Architect at Red Hat within the UK Public Sector Team, you will be a key strategic partner, driving customer success through the adoption of Red Hat's solutions.
In this enterprise-focused role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and industry knowledge to design, build, and deliver tailored solutions that align with the customer’s business objectives. By positioning Red Hat's portfolio as the foundation for innovation and operational excellence, you will play a pivotal role in enabling customers to maximize the value of their investment.
This role demands a strong blend of technical architecture skills, strategic business acumen, and the ability to align Red Hat's offerings with the customer’s long-term vision, ensuring sustained success and growth.
What you will need:
Engage Business Decision Makers: Align solutions with the business goals of stakeholders such as CTOs, CIOs, and department heads.
Lead and orchestrate between customer stakeholders and Red Hat’s specialist teams to address business goals, technical needs, and growth plans.
Design and implement end-to-end architecture solutions leveraging Red Hat’s product portfolio and gain customer agreement to your strategy and vision.
Serve as the primary technical account leader and trusted advisor to ensure successful implementation and integration.
Provide proactive technical guidance, best practices, and architectural recommendations tailored to each customer’s unique environment.
Lead solution architecture workshops, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to validate and demonstrate Red Hat’s capabilities.
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback and real-world use cases.
Develop and present technical documentation, architecture designs, and operational procedures to support customers in their ongoing use of Red Hat solutions.
Mentor and support customer technical teams to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to maximise their investment in Red Hat products.
Be a customer evangelist, stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Red Hat product advancements to advance customers in their modernisation and digital transformation journeys.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of experience in technical account management, solution architecture, or consulting, preferably in an enterprise software or open-source environment.
Extensive knowledge of Red Hat’s portfolio, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, and related products.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools and practices.
Proven ability to architect complex solutions, incorporating infrastructure, application, and integration layers.
Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role with a strong focus on customer success, troubleshooting, and relationship-building.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Currently hold or willing to be sponsored for HM Government clearances.
Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA) are highly desirable.
Required to travel to visit customers in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, software-defined networking, and virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with IT automation and configuration management tools, especially Ansible.
Proven success working with enterprise customers in a strategic or advisory capacity.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
