This position will be responsible for prepping, scanning, indexing images, and micrographic digitization of different document types and mailings within the department and other agencies. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will process and sort daily incoming mail for Revenue Bureaus to be scanned into various files. You will also perform quality checks in reviewing the condition of documents prior to scanning. The CA2 will arrange prepped documents and correspondence according to the bureau and/or tax type, and will submit work to supervisor for quality control prior to scanning. The Clerical Assistant 2 will be responsible for maintaining a log of all completed work; keep IT equipment and scanners cleaned, calibrated, and well-maintained; work with vendors to troubleshoot or make repairs; and transport work and mail throughout Strawberry Square Tower for department needs, as well as other duties as assigned. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment. + Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. + On-site parking is available. + Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes). + You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or + Graduation from high school;or + An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: + You must be able to perform essential job functions.
