**SUMMARY:**
The Accounting Clerk will provide assistance to the finance department by ensuring that AAR accounts receivable records are up to date, credit and collections are applied.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Act as a point of contact with designated customers for collection issues associated with aging accounts.
+ Liaise and co-ordinate payments, refunds and adjustments to customer accounts
+ Proactively engage with the Finance Manager to ensure implementation of all contractual requirements to guarantee customer satisfaction and contract performance.
+ Reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies
+ Contact customers with past due accounts via email and or telephone and reconcile payment
+ Create reports on status of past due accounts
+ Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer questions and resolving customer account balance disputes.
+ daily cash management duties, including posting bank transactions

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** : High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior Accounting experience a Plus.
