PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To receive, verify and scan/file all POD documents and to execute all administrative related duties in area of responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
Grade 12, with 2-3 years’ experience in administration and debtors in a distribution environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Verify and file PODs (Proof of Delivery) and related documents, ensuring accuracy and timely updates on the Docit system daily. Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve return issues and follow up on outstanding PODs for credit processing. Investigate and resolve customer queries on credits and remittances within 48 hours. Provide administrative support, including substituting for supervisors and managing petty cash. Process and monitor supplier purchasing requisitions on SAP, ensuring accurate record-keeping of quotes and invoices. Manage PPE distribution, arrange functions, and handle ad hoc administrative tasks for the Distribution Centre. Provide professional customer service, addressing complaints promptly, while adhering to company policies, safety standards, and maintaining a clean workspace.
