Overview Provides Admissions Department support ensuring that charts, correspondence, etc. are scanned into document imaging to enhance Patient Financial Services and Admissions ability to research and appropriately bill accounts. Admissions Department areas include: Emergency Room Support Unit, Admissions and the Financial Counselors. Other clerical duties, such as filing and document distribution. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of clerical or office work preferred. Personal computer skills required. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, good communication skills, work independently and be a team player. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
