Departmental Overview Patient Financial Services department plays a crucial role in the financial health of the Norman Regional Health System. We are responsible for the proper processing of all billable services to insurance companies on a daily basis. Accurate billing and collections is also a vital key to our success for our patient's satisfaction. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated customer service representative for our Cashier’s office. Candidates must have good communication, computer, and time management skills. Be detailed-oriented, a team player, and possess professional etiquette. You will be responsible for assisting patients, attorneys, or vendors in person or over the phone with their- payments questions or any issues in regards to their accounts for the hospital or clinics. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience Customer service Experience and knowledge of collection of accounts for health-care service providers (hospital, urgent care clinics, and/or physicians offices) preferred. Experience in ECW and Meditech programs preferred Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Typing 55 WPH and Ten Key 8000 KPH Microsoft Office programs multiple line phone Compensation/Benefits $13.74-$22.44/hr depending on previous work experience.
