Job Summary
The Clerk IV position provides clerical support to the Facilities Management Department and the specific units it is composed of. The position performs clerical functions, including data entry into various software applications and communicating with various university departmental staff and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve payment issues that may arise.
Required Education and Experience
* A minimum of one year (1) related experience.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills and Abilities
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and telephone skills.
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse individuals effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize well and focus on completing tasks and objectives.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
* Ability to operate all standard office equipment and software, including MS Office.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and make independent decisions for non-complex issues.
* Ability to provide data entry support.
* Ability to maintain an electronic filing system for processed orders.
