A Day in the Life:

The role of the Cash Application Lead Clerk is to coordinate and monitor the daily Cash application process for all Receivable types and brands. This position also includes providing guidance, training, and support for the Cash application team.

The Lead Clerk will also be responsible for ensuring high quality standards are maintained while embracing process excellence.

We expect the starting wage to be around $19.09

What You’ll Do:

Manage daily processes for Hertz and DTAG cash application including Commercial Billing, Direct Billing, HLE Insurance, HLE Bodyshops/Dealerships, Licensees, and Tour accounts to ensure that all payment application is performed. Identify and analyze poor remittances. Attend meetings to collaborate with the Collections’ teams to resolve issues. Apply payments daily to meet the team’s goal. Provide guidance, training and support for the Cash application team. Ensure team stats are kept updated and errors are documented weekly. Research and respond to Bank Reconciliation inquiries timely. Revise/update procedure manuals as needed. Participate in projects to increase efficiency of the workflow. Assist in automating the application of payments by recommending accounts to the Analysts that are a pain point and should be automated as a process efficiency. Assist with audit and provide SOX documentation to the Supervisor by deadlines

 

What We’re Looking For:

Recent relevant work experience in Receivables & Collections, Customer Service or a position of leadership responsibility in a team-based office environment  High School Diploma or Equivalent  Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills   Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
