General Summary:

Under general supervision and direction of the Treasury Manager, performs a variety of administrative, accounting, and financial accounting duties for multiple Sheppard Pratt corporations.  Including but not limited to management assignments requiring problem solving ability and administrative tasks. Reconciles various accounts for Sheppard Pratt and related corporations. Records and maintains logs for receipts and disbursements, as necessary. Supports accounting staff, as needed, prepares, and enters journal entries, reconciles various accounts, tracks miscellaneous billings, and accumulates audit support as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting 1-2 years finance/accounting experience and 2-3 years Customer Service experience required. Work requires the ability to read, write, and speak professionally and perform mathematical calculations. Work requires professional level of knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and theory. Work requires knowledge of general accounting and compliance reporting, and must have experience working with computerized accounting, and General Ledger systems. Work requires a relatively high level of analytical abilities sufficient to analyze clearing accounts, reconcile balances, and gather and interpret data from various sources.
