Role: Client and Pet Care Advisor (Receptionist)

Salary: £22,542.00 per annum

Location: Blacks Veterinary Group, Dudley Hospital

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 1 weekend per month.
Shifts will vary between 8.00-20.00 predominantly based at our Dudley Hospital however you will be required to travel between our 5 Branches when required (Dudley, Lye, Oldbury, Sedgley and Quinton)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join the fantastic team at Blacks Vets in Dudley Hospital

Your role

Our Client and Pet Care Advisors are the face of the business and first port-of-call for our clients, so friendly professionalism is essential.

 

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Welcoming clients and pets into the practice.

Promptly responding to calls and emails and able to work in a fast paced environment.

Management of the diary, booking in appointments and surgical procedures as appropriate.

General administration, to include complete insurance claims.

Financial reconciliation and debt management

Guiding pet owners through their, sometimes complicated and emotionally challenging, journeys

Dispensing medication.

General housekeeping and practice maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills.
Experience in a client-facing role or within the veterinary industry preferred, but not essential.
