Client Care Coordinator
Overview The Client Care Coordinator supports the Client Care Manager or Branch Manager in ensuring the efficient coordination of staffing and scheduling of clients for a non-skilled home care company. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality client care and optimizing caregiver schedules. The Client Care Coordinator is responsible for administrative tasks related to client and caregiver coordination, ensuring seamless service delivery, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and their families. CBC1 Responsibilities Staffing Coordination: Assist in the scheduling and coordination of caregivers to meet the needs of clients. Ensure all shifts are covered in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to client care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver availability, client schedules, and service delivery. Collaborate with caregivers to understand their availability and preferences to optimize scheduling. Client Care Management: Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients and their families, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their satisfaction and address any issues related to care services. Assist in coordinating client intake and onboarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and accurate. Monitor and ensure the quality of care provided to clients, implementing improvements as needed. Administrative Support: Support the Client Care Manager or Branch Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks and compliance with company policies. Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records related to client care, staffing, and branch operations. Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance service delivery. Help manage office supplies and ensure the office environment is organized and professional. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Client Care Manager, Branch Manager, and other team members to ensure alignment of branch activities with regional goals and objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff. Provide support to caregivers, ensuring they have the resources and information needed to deliver high-quality care. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company updates and best practices. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to client care and staffing. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including client satisfaction, caregiver performance, and operational efficiency. Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a client care or staffing coordination role within the home care or healthcare industry. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, caregivers, and staff. Proficiency in scheduling software and other relevant technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
