We currently have a 16,000 square foot, state of the art facility with plans to grow in the new year. Our emergency center is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to always support our community! Specialty services offered at CVRC include cardiology, internal medicine, neurology & neurosurgery, medical oncology (radiation oncology coming soon!), rehabilitation, soft tissue & orthopedic surgery. Our hospital houses an MRT, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiographs for diagnostic imaging.
About the Role: The Client Care Team Lead will provide strategic leadership to the department, fostering open communication and accountability among all team members. This role is instrumental in facilitating effective communication, coordination, and collaboration both within the service and across the entire CVRC organization. The Client Care Team Lead will enhance team performance through exemplary leadership, clear communication, and a steadfast commitment to exceptional patient care and team development. Additionally, this role will serve as a crucial liaison between client care team and leadership, ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management - being the voice and leader of the Client Care team while ensuring accountability of team members within their roles, leading monthly team meetings, organizing daily huddles to maintain the flow, managing shift transitions, and ensuring appropriate staffing and scheduling. Staff Development and Training - Evaluating staff performance regularly while continuously developing, reviewing, and maintaining the Client Care training program, training and mentoring team members, offering in-the-moment coaching and continued guidance, and fostering a learning culture within the whole hospital.Communication and Collaboration - assisting in the communication between management and department team members, routinely communicating through scheduled and impromptu meetings to discuss department needs, and participating in disciplinary actions within the team.Operational Management - Operating as a primary and key client care representative within the department while working with the Hospital Operations Coordinator to ensure the client care team has the necessary tools and supplies for success, and collaborating to maintain hospital systems and safety protocols are kept up-to-date. Team Building and Cohesion - resolving minor interpersonal conflicts to ensure a cohesive team environment, while organizing team-building activities and outings to strengthen bonds and enhance the culture amongst the team. Client Care Responsibilities - Addressing client service issues and billing inquiries in collaboration with the Client Care Supervisor and Client Care Manager, promoting exceptional customer service within the team and providing mentoring, counseling, and development of team members, while maintaining a high visibility within the team daily.Qualifications
At least 2 years of veterinary customer service experience.Basic understanding of veterinary staff scheduling and needs of the hospital.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Strong work ethic and positive attitudeExcellent communication skills with doctors, coworkers, and clientsMaintain a professional, positive, and encouraging attitude.At CVRC, we are committed to excellence in veterinary care, and our team is at the heart of that mission.
