Job Description

As a Consulting Analyst, you will be leading and / or working on VCA engagements where you are expected to:

Use Visa and external data to analyze client needs and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with Visa’s key clients.Deliver Consulting projects. Resolve complex strategic problems. Synthesize and manage complex project structures when required. Manage, facilitate, and implement consulting services and meet client's business targets (assignment objectives, project scope, budget, paperwork, external consultants' supervision, and project delivery).Work cross-functionally with other Visa teams to bring a holistic solution to our clients leveraging Visa’s rich value-added services (VAS) from functions such as Marketing, Products, Risk and Merchant Solutions teamsDevelop propositions by closely working with Client Relationship Managers, promoting the solutions with external clients and, executing and delivering the consulting engagement to clientsEnable growth and improve profitability across our clients’ payment business through portfolio management and segment expansion

 

Qualifications

We are looking to hire candidates who have already accumulated a variety of experience, curious about the payments industry, results-driven and client-centric.

Specific skills and experience you will bring are:

Solid experience (5+ years) in consulting, corporate strategy, or business managementStrong experience in managing complex projectsSuperior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorHigh degree of intellectual curiosity, with a motivation to understand the why behind each business challenge or opportunityStrong team orientation with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, able to work effectively in a matrixed organizationExcellent detail orientation, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigour in reports and data analysisExcellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilitiesSelf-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to progress multiple priorities concurrentlyExperience in and passion for the power of analytics to inform and drive strategy and tactics, and proven ability to generate insights from dataStrong commercial acumen, with experience in working on business/value cases that prove ROIWillingness to travel where required for project delivery


In addition, you will ideally bring the following:

Experience in payments or retail banking industryExperience in customer experience design (using human centred design / design thinking)An understanding of statistical analysis, modelling, scoring schemes, etc.An understanding of retailer-led digital innovation
