Your opportunity:
We are currently sourcing a Client Development Manager (CDM) to act as a key member of our Group Partnerships team at AIA. Reporting to the Manager – Client Relations, this position can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. As a Client Development Manager, you will contribute to the achievement of revenue and profit targets, increased premium flow and profitability for AIA. You will do this by managing and maintaining Broker/Partner relationships and contributing to the formulation, negotiation and implementation of strategic sustainable enhancements to current benefit designs for schemes within the team’s portfolio.
To do this successfully you will:
Contribute to the strategy definition and implementation for brokers and partners within the team’s portfolio, ensuring all internal stakeholders are engaged, to achieve profitability and retention targets with clientsWork with a dedicated panel of brokers and partners to identify opportunities for enhancements to current benefit designs on scheme in order to increase sustainability, premium flow and profitabilityIdentify, make recommendations for, and play a key role in the implementation for process, product and service improvements within the corporate portfolioContribute to the best-in-class service delivery and relationship management through promoting AIA’s corporate proposition including AIA Vitality and wellbeing support services and program benefits to the Employer and their workforceManage and lead all scheme renewal activities, with a focus on the promoting the value of AIA’s proposition and renewal presentationProactively develop and maintain day-to-day relationships with Broker/Partners panel within the team’s portfolioWork closely on a daily basis with the operations team, representing the Broker/Partners voice and working in partnership to ensure we are delivering on our promisesSuccessful applications will demonstrate:
Experience working within the life insurance/superannuation industryTertiary qualified in a related discipline preferredA deep understanding of the drivers of life insurance and knowledge of the Acts and legislation that govern the industryExcellent communication, negotiation and relationship skillsGood commercial acumenThe proven ability to network and build strong client relationshipsThe ability to represent AIA externallyHigh level skills in the use of Microsoft OfficeWhy choose AIA:
