Client Management Internship, CRD, Charles River Development

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

As a Client Management Intern, you will support a Client Manager in supporting client satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will assist in the effective delivery of Charles River IMS projects, support services, and day-to-day client interactions while building strong relationships with client teams.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop client management skills, gain hands-on experience with investment management technology, and work closely with senior internal and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Client Management Intern, you will assist a Client Manager in managing a portfolio of Charles River IMS accounts by:

Supporting client engagement activities, including regular check-ins, project updates, and executive communications.Assisting in building relationships with client teams and gaining an understanding of their goals and how Charles River aligns with their needs.Learning and maintaining a working knowledge of the Charles River IMS and its core functionalities, upgrades, and investment management product offerings.Collaborating with internal client account teams to ensure smooth delivery of support services and projects.Tracking client issues, ensuring prompt resolution, and escalating as needed to meet client expectations.Helping identify additional client needs and opportunities for value-added services, in collaboration with the internal Sales team.Staying informed about trends in the investment management industry and their relevance to Charles River clients.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Finance, Technology, Business, or a related discipline.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and solutions.Interest in building strong client relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.Eagerness to learn and grow, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.

Salary Range:

$15,600 - $58,500 Annual
