Client Manager; U500 - Houston, TX(Hybrid)

**Role Summary:**
Responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 60 clients with a focus on implementing and executing tactical plans and strategies to achieve exceptional client retention, rate execution, earnings and growth targets.
Work closely with underwriting partners and other key internal stakeholders to drive execution on key metrics and recommendations in order to meet client retention and market earnings objectives.
Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and producers to foster collaboration and client loyalty.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Overall account management responsibility for Cigna assigned clients in the South Texas/Louisiana geographical area.
+ Meet and exceed rate execution, client retention and earnings growth key performance indicators.
+ Demonstrate medical underwriting and financial acumen with experience in analyzing financial experience reports to drive strategic decisions.
+ Create and execute portfolio strategies that positively impacts financial results.
+ Represent Cigna Healthcare as a subject matter expert to drive value within the market through consultative analytics presentations.
+ Oversees and mentor team members to ensure an optimal client experience.
**Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years of sales experience in health benefits.
+ Strong understanding of medical underwriting and financial principles.
+ College Degree or equivalent related experience.
+ Excellent communication/presentation/sales negotiation skills.
+ Health and Life Insurance License.
