Client Network Solution Coordinator - Africa

Job purpose

Allianz Partners Medical Provider Management (MPM) has a unique and exciting job opportunity available for someone who has the knowledge, medical network, project management and relationship building skills to drive strategic excellence across all global Allianz Partners medical entities.

This candidate will be primarily responsible for the co-ordinating the delivery and expansion of medical provider network solutions and services for a specific high profile client, driving the delivery of the MPM’s support of strategic growth initiatives. The candidate will drive delivery across MPM Africa and Europe regional and central teams through network growth and addressing client escalations and issues via both direct providers and TPAs.

What you do:

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Plan, deliver and execute medical provider network expansion for a key client in Africa and Europe regions, in support of MPM’s strategic ambition and AzP growth, reporting to Team Leader. Own and manage client’s network-related issues and escalations in Africa and Europe and provide first-time resolution Work in conjunction with MPM Africa & Europe regional and central teams who manage provider and TPA relationships to ensure delivery of network expansion, issues and escalations management and other key topics on behalf of key client. Resolve issues by co-ordinating directly with client and providers / TPAs as needed. Act as key “advocate” for the client, ensuring customer-centric approach to delivery. Work closely with Team Lead and other key client Service team members within AzP MPM and Operations as part of a dedicated “virtual team” to ensure service excellence for the client. Establish and implement project management tools to support the delivery of network expansion. Deliver regular (weekly / monthly) dashboards and reporting on delivery against plan Drive, co-ordinate with and provide support to regional and central MPM team managers and their team members to ensure delivery against targets. Establish and maintain governance in relation to a network development, client network / TPA reporting and performance management, and issues/escalations. Pro-actively innovate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery and establish solutions to reduce key client issues and escalations Deliver reporting to the wider business and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Communicate regularly and effectively, delivering with key stakeholders within MPM, AzP as well as external stakeholders as needed Other activities as directed by the Team Lead, Head of Central Provider Management & Governance, or Head of Global MPM from time to time.

What you bring:

 

Experience & qualifications required 2+ years’ experience in international health insurance / TPA / travel insurance / assistance or related industries including experience in medical provider / TPA management Understanding of international medical provider network management or related activities eg IPMI operations Educated to degree level or appropriate professional qualification

 

Technical competencies Logical thinking mind set and ability to problem solve Strong communication (verbal & written), presentation and interpersonal skills Relationship and stakeholder management Project management skills People management and motivation Analytical skills Negotiation Business and commercial acumen Able to use a range of standard (Microsoft Office) and non-standard IT applications to support and enhance the work; Fluent in written and verbal English; other languages an advantage
