Purpose of Role Enhance long-term relationships with clients through exceptional client service, together with strong client engagement across the full lifecycle of their experience with SSGA, with the overriding objective of client retention.
Major Responsibilities
Key point of contact for Institutional clients, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with senior Client Relationship Managers and Account Executives on the day to day client management of our Strategic Partnership clients.
Manage client onboarding, setting client expectations and delivering on those expectations to get revenue over the line as swiftly as possible.
Build a comprehensive knowledge of SSGA’s range of investment products/strategies.
Develop SSGA’s intellectual capital through the use of Salesforce to record meeting notes and key information on clients/consultants.
Present to clients and their investment consultants as part of periodic investment reviews.
Proactively maintain Salesforce, ensuring contacts, new opportunities or risks are recorded promptly
As the first line of contact with clients, ensure the firm’s anti-money laundering and know-your-customer policies (AML/KYC) are properly adhered to at on-boarding and throughout the relationship lifecycle
Demonstrate risk excellence through adhering to a robust compliance culture.
Effectively communicate with colleagues within the organization, including, but not limited to, investment, operations, legal & compliance teams, with a view to maximising opportunities and mitigating threats.
Education and Experience
Completed University degree or equivalent degree from a business school.
5 years’ experience in a financial institution
Experience within an investment management firm preferred
Global mindset and appreciation of operating in a diverse working environment.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Effective planning and organising abilities.
Commitment to risk, compliance, governance and regulation policies and procedures.
Interest in and knowledge of investment markets.
