Client Relationship Manager Specialist – Local Business Development
Description Apply Now Open sharing options Save Saved Share The Client Relationship Manager Specialist – Local Business Development is responsible for client acquisition activities to drive local AAC growth and supporting client’s goals through advice relationships via the AAC team framework. Key responsibilities include generating new client acquisition leads, scheduling, and conducting meetings with prospective clients, analyzing the potential client’s investments, goals, existing plan, and provide a recommendation or strategy to solve for client goals. Where applicable, support conversion of advisor’s practice to AAC regional team(s).

Key Responsibilities

Drive local client acquisition in support of AAC growth. Generate leads through various methods including natural market, referrals, local seminars, workplace partnerships, networking groups and web-based marketing venues with the support of marketing and the advisor team. Individual would schedule and hold meetings with prospects in order understand their financial goals, develop strategies to achieve goals, and ultimately acquire them as clients.Support conversion of existing advisor practice to AAC regional team focused on maximizing client retention and delivering a positive onboarding experience to the AAC team.Engage in on-going professional development to increase industry, product, sales and servicing skills. Earn and/or maintain FINRA/other licenses and professional designations to support comprehensive advice relationships. Ensure compliance requirements are met; facilitate appropriate business processes and the monitoring of interactions and next steps.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent5-7 years of relevant experiencePrevious sales experience and proven ability to generate results.Demonstrated ability to generate prospect leads and convert these leads into new clients.In depth knowledge of financial products and financial planning.Comprehensive understanding of the financial services market, economy, and industry trends.Robust consulting, influencing and client engagement skills. High level of confidence, resilience, and desire to achieve. Outstanding verbal, written, and listening communication skillset as well as superior customer service skills.Demonstrated ability to display and maintain a highly professional demeanor consistent with Ameriprise values and brand.Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.FINRA Series 7, 63/65/66 or ability to obtain in 200 daysLife and Health Insurance and Variable Contracts Licenses


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce.com and ThomsonTrained in Integrity Selling Sales ModelCAS, CRPC, CFP, ChFC, RICP certifications preferred

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $80,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
