Client Reporting Analyst, AVP - State Street Global Advisors

The Client Reporting Analyst manages client reporting related inquiries from State Street Global Advisors clients, consultants, third party administrators, and internal teams such as the Global Institutional Group to produce and deliver client reports.  The role requires the usage of a range of applications to produce reports with different types of data such as performance, accounting, holdings, and other fund analytics.  Collaboration with other global teams across the organization is also required to source data and manage deliverables.  The role is assigned to support a defined set of Relationship Managers and North American Clients and serves as an extension of the Client Facing Team as part of the Investment Operations Team.  Experience managing the end-to-end report production and client inquiry support process is required.  Prior experience with client reporting tools, CRM systems, performance systems, and accounting systems is desired.  Experience with analytical tools such as Factset or PORT is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Receive and respond to client and consultant inquires promptly, completely, and accurately.

Produce client reports and data extracts in response to client requests.

Collaborate with and support other Client Reporting Team Members in North America.

Partner with Client Reporting Team Members in Bangalore, India for regulatory scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.

Perform daily data operations tasks and activities to support management of daily task list and client follow ups.

Become subject matter expert on relevant client reporting tools and data applications.

Maintain the Client Reporting System (CRS) to disseminate performance, accounting, holdings, characteristics and customized reporting

Work with clients, consultants and custodians on all reporting related inquiries

Coordinate production of and address ad hoc requests for various regulatory reporting requirements

Manage client audit process by providing standard documentation as well as handling additional follow up requests

Build knowledge and understanding of SSGA investment products and client types.

Participate in client calls and meetings as required.

Qualifications:

8+ years working experience in the Investment Industry with 5+ years hands on client reporting or Investment Operations  experience. 

BS/BA or equivalent required.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and working proficiency of Powerpoint, and Word

Knowledge of client reporting and/or Investment Operations in the Asset Management or broader Financial Services industry.

Understanding of Institutional investment products, Mutual Funds, and/or ETFs across a range of data domains including performance, holdings, accounting, pricing, and analytics.

Proven ability to effectively manage time and balance priorities across multiple assignments

Great attention to detail and highly organized.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills  

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working with external clients.

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $90,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
