Client Service Analyst - Investment Solutions

As a Client Service Analyst - Investment Solutions, you will be part of the Solutions team. The Solutions team seeks to help investors access our best thinking and implementation when it comes to investment funds and strategies. They are client-friendly subject matter experts with a commercial focus responsible for developing our strategy, growing our client base and managing existing client relationships. We offer solutions across the full range of listed and private markets, including Alternative asset classes, all structured to give investors the best chance of meeting their strategic investment goals. Our institutional client-base includes a range pension funds, endowments, foundations and private wealth platforms.

You will be supported by your colleagues to learn about our business and apply your skills and experience to our solutions and client portfolios.

The role will be London based. We actively support flexible working and would be happy to discuss your requirements during the application process.  

The Role

You will work alongside the Lead Portfolio Specialists as subject matter experts within the business for our investment funds and strategies, helping to develop clear market positioning and messaging for these  You will work alongside the Solutions Client Team, looking after institutional clients who invest in our pooled investment funds You will assist maintaining up to date content on our funds and strategies which will support new business opportunities, as well as existing client reporting. This will involve liaising with the reporting, portfolio management and research teams You will support senior colleagues in our marketing efforts, and will have the opportunity to build relationships and assist in the ongoing servicing of our clients (both internal and external) across the globe  You will work with colleagues to prepare sales/marketing proposals for both internal and external use, provide responses to RFPs, pitches, and due diligence processes on our solutions, create decks for client meetings and respond to queries from clients and intermediaries.

You will be introduced to colleagues and external third parties and the role will require you to be able to build strong networks internally in the Investments business and to collaborate effectively across teams in a timely and efficient manner.  The Solutions team is a key growth area for the business so we welcome candidates with an interest in sales/marketing and the ability to gain a commercial understanding of the attractiveness of our investment solutions relative to the broader market We will support you to develop a natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels You will work in a very collaborative team and have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, to develop your own skills as well as providing support to more junior colleagues across the business We are happy to support you towards professional qualifications, for example the CFA

The Requirement

We would expect a candidate for a role at this level to have minimum years of relevant experience Degree level education in any discipline, but you will need to demonstrate an interest in investments and a desire to deepen this knowledge over timeSelf-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, reliable, extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and committed to accuracyStrong communication skillsExceptional aptitude for following up and following through on assigned tasksKnowledge from a previous role in investment management producing marketing content and sales aides, or providing client service would be advantageous but not essentialThe MS Office suite is used daily so experience working with these programs is beneficial, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and, to a lesser extent, Access
