Client Service Assistant
**Summary:** The Client Services Assistant will provide comprehensive operational support to three Wealth Advisors within Neuberger Berman Private Wealth. Candidate should possess a proactive work ethic, an active interest in the financial markets and be energized by the possibility of contributing within a highly skilled team environment. This position will provide the individual with a perspective on Neuberger Berman’s Private Wealth Management business. **Responsibilities:** + Assist with administrative tasks including answering phones, typing correspondence, copying, filing, binding presentations, and the preparation of travel & expense reports. + Assist with marketing responsibilities including mass mailings, event planning, and the preparation of prospect and client presentations and correspondence. + Participate in daily activities of operational support team and facilitate all client service needs. + Act as a liaison between Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Operations, and clients. + Initiate new account opening process through Centralized Business Services Team. Assist clients with required documentation. + Perform account maintenance including but not limited to; funds disbursements, name/address changes, year-end charitable gifting, ACATS and DTC transfers, cost updates, billing/fees, client directed trade orders, etc. + Regular contact with clients regarding; new account documents, LOA’s, account updates, checks and wires, account performance, trade activity, transfers, statement inquiries, research, fees, objective changes, portfolio market values, stock quotes, online access, etc. **Qualifications:** + Undergraduate degree. + Series 7 and 66 required within the first 6 months of employment. + Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Pro, including a working knowledge of mail merges and tables. + Salesforce and Concur experience a plus. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and client servicing skills. + Detail oriented and organized with strong follow-up skills. + Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and fast paced business environment. + Ability to operate effectively and work under pressure with tight deadlines. + Team player and a desire to collaborate with others. Compensation Details The salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
