Client Service Associate
**Summary** **The Institutional Client Coverage team offers an exciting opportunity to support Neuberger Berman’s sales and client servicing initiatives for our Asia (ex-Japan, ex-Korea) business. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Services Associate to join our dynamic Client Services team. This team is responsible for meeting the servicing needs of a fast-growing and international client base.** **The ideal candidate will play a critical role in resolving client queries, producing and distributing reports, and implementing and improving processes to enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a client-centric mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the organization.** **Responsibilities** **Resolve a continuous flow of client queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to both minor and exceptional requests.** **Assist with the production and distribution of monthly client reports, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.** **Coordinate performance and analytical materials for client review meetings.** **Coordinate materials for Portfolio Manager meeting tours and other client engagements, ensuring all follow-up tasks are completed.** **Conduct thorough meeting preparation, including researching client/consultant profiles, coordinating prep calls with internal teams, and managing follow-ups post-meeting.** **Build product and client knowledge over time to assist with proactive account management and sales campaigns.** **Maintain and update client profiles, activity reports, and sales opportunity pipelines using Salesforce CRM.** **Collaborate with the Institutional Client Coverage team, as well as Portfolio Management, Reporting, Legal and Compliance, and Operations teams across global offices, to address client and prospect needs.** **Work with internal teams on relevant projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and client objectives.** **Implement and refine operational procedures, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.** **Participate in team projects to enhance internal workflows in line with industry best practices.** **Stay up to date on industry trends, Neuberger Berman’s business strategy, key products, and clients to effectively support the coverage team.** **Oversee DDQ submissions, liaising with the RFP team to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.** **Review responses in DDQs for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client expectations.** **Qualifications** **Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce, or a related quantitative field of study.** **Having SFC Type 1 and Type 4 licenses would be an advantage** **\** **A minimum of 3 years of experience within the Financial Services or Investment industry.** **Working knowledge of equity, fixed income, and alternative products and instruments.** **Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.** **Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.** **Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.** **Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg, with the ability to quickly learn additional tools and systems as needed.** **Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems and reporting tools.** **Ability to maintain professional discretion and confidentiality.** **Ability to “think, question, and challenge” to drive continuous improvement.** **Collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.** **Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin** _Neuberger Berman is an equal opportunity employer.
