Are you someone who can:

This role will be best suited to a senior consultant, who is looking for a new challenge, assisting direct clients as well offering support to Snr VIP Consultants.       You will work closely with the VIP Consultants, Team Leaders, and Operations Travel Manager to deliver excellent and efficient customer service.    You will be responsible for assisting VIP Consultants with processing, new domestic reservations, contacting suppliers, working on existing bookings made as well as assisting with new reservations.      Must be comfortable to be able to book all travel related services, like accommodation either online & onGalileo, flights, transfers, car hire and assistance with visa inquiries. To assist providing clients info on health requirements to travel to a specific destination. A passion in consulting with clients on the phone as well as over email and enjoy building lasting relationships with our    valued clients.    You will have a strong understanding of complex routings as well as strong fares knowledge and experience.   You will have excellent and proven experience in working on Galileo (SmartPoint).Must have the knowledge to create leisure itineraries and travel experiences.  Must be able to obtain travel related information like visa info, covid requirements and health requirements to consult with clients.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Matric Certificate or equivalent    Related Travel qualification or Travel Diploma    Minimum 8 years working experience as a travel consultant.    Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Galileo SmartPoint   Extensive domestic and international fares & ticketing experienceExtensive understanding of the Travel Industry.    Extensive knowledge in leisure travel. Quality Control Management and being able to take requests/tasks and action on specific request from VIP consultants.

Tech Savvy with confidence in using multiple systems.    Process driven and strong ethics.    Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.   Great communication skills.    Self-motivated and shows initiative.    Self-starter who works well in a team    Able to work responsibly when unsupervised.    Must be flexible to work overtime when requested.Collaborates well with other departments   Ability to actively listen and extract relevant, key information.Passion for learning and ensuring your client's needs are satisfied.Able to take direction, as well as motivate own choices.    Must have great problem-solving skills.Must be able to apply great attention to detail, minimal room for error.
