Client Service Executive

What you will do:
The role holder provides multi-jurisdictional client support to HSBC's Relationship Management and Acquisition teams and facilitates client review, renewal, maintenance and exit activities across all HSBC products. The client management support function is responsible for the co-ordination and completion of key operational activities, whilst providing regulatory expertise and risk management assistance. The main responsibilities may include being the point of contact for client relationship managers and clients from an onboarding, account maintenance and Customer Due Diligence perspective.
Accordingly, the role holder is responsible for existing client maintenance and facilitation of client exits as well as supporting the client relationship managers with any relationship tasks.
In this role you will:
Act as primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues.Depending on the seniority of the CSE, the role holder may have client-facing responsibilities.Support senior management in identifying ways to improve the client experience.Support the achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, and cost containmentAssist in the preparation of documentation as instructed by the Relationship Manager or Investment Counsellors.Prepare briefing notes in advance of client meetings and take meeting notes as required.Assist in completing review and submission of credit risk returns including limit excess/exception, security/documentation outstanding, monthly credit control reports etc. Monitor client activity focusing on cash balances and the maturity list.Coordination and completion of key operational activities, whilst providing regulatory expertise and risk management assistance.Responsible for the oversight and co-ordination of new business on-boards, KYC refreshes and remediation projects, existing client maintenance and facilitation of client exits as well as supporting the client relationship managers with any relationship tasks.Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the job holder is involved.Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.Protecting the Bank by acting as First Line of Defence and observing all controls.Working in a Client Service Executive pool, covering all desks in Switzerland to ensure continuity of clients service.To be as autonomous as possible, ideally A to Z completion of tasks.Client Service Executive
