Client Service Representative – Full-Time
VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital – Schaumburg, IL

VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our team!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide outstanding customer service by warmly greeting clients and their pets

Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm visits

Place follow-up calls and connect with prospective clients

Present and process fees and payments accurately

Educate clients on non-medical pet care, including nutrition, flea/tick prevention, and more

Recommend and assist with obtaining products, prescriptions, and services

Maintain accurate medical records and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum one year of customer service experience (veterinary or medical office experience is a plus)

High School Diploma or GED required

Strong communication and active listening skills

Compassion for both pets and their people

Ability to make sound decisions and adapt quickly to new information

Comfortable with Microsoft Office and general computer use

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and handling exposure to pet-related hazards (allergens, waste, etc.)
