Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM) is the asset management arm of the Charles Schwab Corporation, and has over $320 billion under management in mutual funds, ETFs and SMA’s. Products managed include a wide variety of active and indexed equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies, as well as money markets funds. We are looking for people with a passion for helping clients. The successful Specialist in Client Service will serve as a vital member of the Client Services team, serving clients and advisors. Through experience, investment knowledge, and professional development, the entire team strives to provide our clients with a great advisory relationship experience.
What you are good at
Provide support to the Client Service Mangers (CSMs) on a wide variety of tasks Assist with opening and closing client accountsProcess deposits and withdrawals for clientsPreparation of client documents for signatureAssist in the quarter-end reportingAssist with mailing multiple distributions to clientsLiaison with operations and trading to effectively disseminate informationCollaborate on various CS department projectsAssist with generating reports as requested by other CSIM departments and clientsAccount maintenance – daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasksPerform database updates, as necessaryCollaborate in working groups, to better enhance workflows and processesProvide outstanding client service while demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills What you haveTo ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
The candidate must have very strong communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, a positive attitude, self-initiator, professionalism, incredible follow-through, a great work ethic and the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize with ease.

Portfolio accounting software knowledge preferredCollege degree – BA/BS preferredSeries 65/7 is not requiredIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
