The Wellspring Advisor Group is an independent financial services practice of Thrivent Financial. Nick Rasmussen and Roger Schlichting are the two lead financial advisors that own the business. They have combined service of 33 years of direct financial services industry experience. We take a comprehensive-based approach to helping our clients achieve multiple financial goals. We help our clients analyze their current situation, develop in-depth financial programs, and help them implement an integrated financial strategy. Their current combined assets under management and advisement across all product line is approximately $170 million.

This position serves as a resource to Financial Professionals and client/members in handling, researching and communicating inquiries regarding their accounts and supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs in support of new client and account opening, servicing existing investment and insurance accounts, running investment and insurance illustrations, executing money movement transactions, assisting in data gathering and supporting the financial planning/advice service, invoicing, client relations, identifying and helping improve operational effectiveness and efficiency, supports securities and insurance related tasks and other misc. tasks as assigned. The Client Service Administrator reports to Lindsay Rasmussen and is employed by the individual advisor(s) of Wellspring Advisor Group.

Flexible between 32-40 hours per week depending upon weekly with opportunity for overtime during busy seasons. This position is located in Willernie, MN.

Annual target compensation rate assuming 40-hour work week is $50,000-70,000 once licensing obtained (dependent on existing licensing and experience). Additional benefits: 15 days of personal paid time off plus 10 national paid holidays. Retirement plan available with employer match. Health insurance (none but open to consideration if necessary).

Job Description

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Prepare or coordinate the preparation of correspondence, reports, and special projects

Oversee projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as needed

Drive client facing activity in the practice by scheduling meetings with clients

Update Salesforce with client contact and preference information

Assist Lead Advisors with preparation and follow up for client meetings

May attend client meetings and take notes

Research products, product pricing and contacting carriers for information

Answer basic questions for clients

May accept and/or enter trade orders from clients, including unsolicited trade orders

May fill out and sign Variable Life/Variable Annuity/Mutual Fund/Brokerage applications

Show clients how to access their accounts and read statements

Handle requests for transfers of funds in and out of accounts

Fill out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accounts

Set up and retrieve reports in the portfolio management system

Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor

Previous industry experience preferred

Securities (6/63, 7/66, or 7/63 & 65) and/or Life, Health, and Annuity registration may be required

As part of Wellspring Financial Group's recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process.
