We’re hiring a Client Services Associate to join our Sales team full-time in NY.
About our team and what we’ll build togethertheSkimm’s Sales team is a growing group of experienced, resourceful, and scrappy hustlers. We pull out all of the stops to get sh*t done, whether that’s working with agencies and clients directly, seeking out third-party partnerships to drive incremental revenue alongside top of the funnel growth, or contributing to the growth and efficiency of our pre and post-sales operations.
This position will work as part of theSkimm’s post-sale team, overseeing the execution of high-touch custom advertising campaigns in post-sale. The Client Services team is the main point of contact for external clients and internal teams (branded content, design, social, video, experiential, etc.), ensuring flawless campaign execution across theSkimm’s portfolio of bespoke ad products and sponsorship packages.
This position is a full-time role based in New York, NY and will report into the Sr. Manager, Client Services.
How you’ll contribute to our mission Lead post-sale client communication from campaign kick off to final reporting, including but not limited to: scheduling and leading kick off calls, building creative deliverable decks, communicating live notifications and screenshots, and sharing campaign updates and reporting Provide best-in-class “white glove” client service to advertisers through excellent communication and properly setting expectations, ultimately cultivating relationships to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and growth Communicate all aspects of creative development for all custom campaign elements to relevant internal stakeholders (branded content, design, social, video, experiential, etc.) Oversee production from all teams to ensure all elements of a campaign are running smoothly and on-time, including but not limited to: creating timelines and overseeing project deliverables via Asana Simplify production language for the client, and clearly articulate client and sales feedback and expectations back to internal teams Proactively troubleshoot all campaign concerns/hiccups for the client, including being able to diagnose an internal problem properly and seek out solutions that cater to both the client and theSkimm brand values Own the QA and launch phase of all sold elements included within a partner campaign Partner with the Reporting Analytics team to monitor campaign delivery and wrap-up performance, sharing success stories across the organization You’re ready for this! Here’s a bit more about what we’re looking for 2-3 years working in a client-facing role (client services, account/project management, creative production, or sales/media planning) at a like-minded digital media agency or company Relentlessly high standards, an extreme eye for detail, and a track record for attaining results Ability to think strategically and execute tactically simultaneously Exceptional communication and writing skills Public speaking skills and ability to lead a room A background working with and leading communication with internal and external teams Enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with the ability to maintain composure under pressure Experience in building creative decks (keynote, Google, pitch) and working within project management platforms (Asana) is preferredThis role's expected annual base salary is $75,000-$85,000. We’ll consider a variety of factors when determining the offered base salary, including an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, abilities, experience, location, market demands, and internal parity.
