The Client Services Specialist position provides client and company relations support by gathering and collecting necessary job data to facilitate the successful execution of assigned work. This role also performs entry level design work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Receive assigned project details from client/supervision and identify job elements for implementation of project and communicate details effectively to external customers.  Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating and providing information to both internal and external customers.  Accurately gather and enter data into work tracking systems.  Learn company/client policies and procedures for the development of site designs for gas and electric distribution facilities to serve a variety of customers.  Gathers site drawings, construction sketches and other data for gas and electric distribution facilities.  Generate and review customer related documents.  Perform and complete entry level design work as assigned.  Answer and provide basic information when able or screen and forward to appropriate personnel.  Ability to meet established deadlines and deliver requested information in a timely manner.  Perform other dutiesas assigned by management. COMPLEXITY OF WORK: Semi-routine; majority of work covered by established procedures. RELATIONSHIP OUTSIDE WORK GROUP: Exchange of information, which occasionally requires tact and/or diplomacy. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: + 2-4-week orientation period. + Training for data gathering (type and amount) as well as process orientation. LANGUAGE SKILLS: + Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operational procedures, etc. + Ability to write simple correspondence. + Ability to effectively present information in one-on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. + Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
