As a Client Success Manager, you will work with some of our largest merchants in the UK to set the strategic direction of their programs, build internal advocacy and understanding of the Affirm platform, and implement initiatives that will expand usage of Affirm within their channels.
The Client Success Manager position is a high-profile, customer-facing role requiring outstanding relationship management and program management skills.
Collaboration across our different markets and business functions is essential for success within this role.
What You'll Do:
Drive growth: Focus on profitable growth and retention of UK based merchants. Strategy development and execution: Work with cross functional teams, product and marketing and with our external merchant partners to develop strategies for growth and own the end to end execution of new initiatives. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Will roll up sleeves, write a doc, test a flow, talk to customers, and do what it takes to create the right partner experience. Operates from a place of extreme ownership and high individual execution. Cross functional collaboration: Across multiple teams within Affirm to monitor and improve performance of merchant programmes.Flexibility across sectors: Embark on self learning to ensure you understand the sectors within which our merchants operate and any regulatory implications Partnership Excellence: Collaborate externally with marquee partners to develop custom, scalable integrations that align with their unique needs while supporting Affirm's mission and objectives. Driving towards Metrics: Identify the metrics that matter and the inputs into affecting those while providing a roadmap and perspective into timeline for affecting those metrics. Autonomous Innovation & Planning: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where ambiguity is a constant. Be responsible for Quarterly, Bi-Annual, Annual, and Budget planning processes, inclusive of planning for partner planning processes. Senior Leader Interaction: Interact effectively with senior leaders both internally and externally, presenting insights and strategies that drive our company’s objectives.
What We Look For:
5+ years of partner management experience Experience working with external partners and customers while being an ambassador of your company and company’s brand Familiarity considering and building within partner ecosystems Outstanding written and verbal communication with a diverse stakeholder audience An obsession for getting the details right Comfortable in an ambiguous matrixed organization. Strong proficiency in Google workspace apps including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Slack Experience in working with Salesforce CRM Excellent presentation skills Ability to identify growth opportunities through data analysis and partner research Solid familiarity with payments, commerce, fintech or b2b2c models. Bonus points for direct experience with consumer lending Experience of working in a regulated environment in the UK Flexibility and willingness to travel, domestically for client and team meetings and occasional international travel.

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, which includes the annual base pay and the sales incentive target.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
