We are looking for a Client Tax Reporting Specialist for a 12-month contract to be responsible for the following:
- act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), The Automatic Exchange of Information (AEI) and The Qualified Intermediary (QI) topics for the Branch
- monitor developments and changes of regulatory policies and regulations in tandem with the Central Team to assess impact and communicate with local stakeholders accordingly
- responsible for overall change management and local initiation of regulatory requirements including new forms and checklists; location handbook; and system enhancements
- design, test and implement new or modified processes, procedures and controls for regulatory projects and initiatives as mandated by the regulators and / or Bank policy
- facilitate and/or coordinate trainings for employees as required
- develop and manage the end-to-end processes and procedures to ensure the timely, efficient, and accurate preparation and submission of FATCA and AEI client tax filings to The Bahamas Competent Authority
