Summary
Under the direction of the Vice President for Surgical & Ancillary Services, the Clinical Director - Endoscopy Services is responsible for establishing and sustaining patient-centered, endoscopy services with a focus on clinical development, implementation and operational performance that creates a world-class environment. Through collaboration with medical staff Pulmonary, GI, and Colon/Rectal specialties and highly skilled endoscopy team members, ensures quality, safety and service goals established by Parkview Health, and in concert with all Parkview Health Partners. Is ultimately responsible for all clinical services including overall patient care, clinical documentation, quality/safety initiatives, medical staff integration, clinical resources and service excellence. Provides transformational leadership for the RDU, Inpatient & Outpatient Endoscopy service.
Education
Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). MSN preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required; Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) desirable; current ACLS.
Experience
Must have a minimum of three years of experience in endoscopy.
Other Qualifications
Demonstrates ability to handle stressful and emergency situations. Must have good verbal and written skills.
