MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

Expected to perform, provide assistance to doctors and nurses, attends and provides quality care to patient needs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides assistance and service to patients.
• Taking vital signs, initial history taking.
• Daily inspects consultation rooms for availability of supplies essential to doctor’s examination such as cotton, alcohol, speculums for OB-Gyne among others.
• Oversees cleanliness of consultation rooms including linens.
• Ensures and monitors sufficient inventory of supplies.
• Coordinates with other department for endorsement and verification as needed.
• Issues approval to diagnostic requests as appropriate based on our approval guidelines prior to availment.
• Handles keeping and updating of medical records of each patient.
• Prepares and submits timely reports and doctor’s procedure fees.
• To render overtime after regular working hours even during non-working days due to workload.
• Performs other related tasks assigned by Supervisor as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Graduate of BS Nursing or any related medical allied courses
• Experience: Preferably with 1 year work experience in healthcare if not a BS Nursing graduate
• Other Skills: Average verbal and written communications, with initiative, organized and service- oriented
