JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the ancillary and clinic centralized scheduling area and coordinating of the activities of all personnel. Evaluates department for effective and efficient utilization of staff and resources. Uses performance and quality standards to achieve and maintain required data analysis to identify trends, measure productivity, and respond to increases in demand for services. Serving as a clinical resource, responds to escalated problems, assesses patient care needs, provide patient care evaluations, and make recommendations on appropriate level of care needed. The position provides professional nursing assessments for escalated situations and prioritize treatment according to the urgency of need and initiate medical care to patients. Collaborating with providers to ensure quality patient care in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards. The Clinical Centralized Scheduling Supervisor is responsible to broaden knowledge and promote the growth of staff and improve quality. Works closely with Ancillary Department Leadership, Clinic Department Leadership, Patient Access Leadership, and Revenue Cycle Leadership to ensure efficient and accurate patient scheduling. When required, staffs to cover any and all positions and shifts.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Missions of Blessing Health Systems. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

Graduate of a RN School of Nursing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Relevant supervisory experience Three (3) years experience in a clinic or acute setting Ability to handle stressful and constantly changing work environment Must be able to manage through high pressure situations

PREFERRED:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

Possesses current state RN license. Maintain current BLS
