Seymour, TN - Primary Care Clinic - Half day Friday!
✮ Job Description ✮
This role involves a variety of patient care duties, including lab draws, RX verification, appointment follow-up, and occasional scheduling. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient charts, coordinating appointments, and assisting with patient-related matters over the phone.
✮ Responsibilities ✮Primarily responsible for lab draws for all patientsServe patients over the phone with RX verification and appointment follow-upOccasional scheduling tasksPrepare and maintain patient charts including insurance, registration, correspondence, laboratory and radiology reportsTrack and request patient records, slides, and films; document as necessary in the chartsSchedule and coordinate appointments, scans, and tests; confirm appointments; notify appropriate departments of daily and weekly patient schedulesReceive incoming calls to assist patients, physicians, and others with patient-related mattersRelay diagnostic test results to patients per physician's discretionConduct follow-up phone calls to patients with problems and 'no-shows'Perform BP, TPR, and weight measurements on each patient; alert physician of abnormalitiesPerform medical history on each patient prior to being seen by physicianMaintain medical supplies in each exam room and office supplies in clerical areas✮ Qualifications ✮LPN licenseBLS Experience with patient scheduling and medical record maintenance✮ Shift ✮
Monday - Thursday / 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday / 8:00am - 12:00pmPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
