Clinic Manager External Clinics

Job Description Summary To effectively and efficiently manage and direct clinic personnel functions working closely with the Director or Administrator and the medical Provider(s) to ensure that the Clinic is adhering to the standardized hospital policies and to assure financial accountability through balanced productivity and cost containment. This position directly oversees & supervises all non-clinical staff in the Clinic, and provides indirect/dotted-line supervision of the clinical staff. Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required; + Minimum of 3 years experience previous practice management experience; + Working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding (prefer CPC); + Knowledge of the features and functions of billing office computer systems required; + Experience in Accounts Receivables management (prefer CPAR) LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS: + Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; + Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation. SKILLS: + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with office staff, clinic staff and hospital staff; + Personnel management skills; + Working knowledge of Clinicians or experience with clinical and clerical personnel.
