Job Summary and Qualifications + Responsible for overall coordination of business development and education of patients, insurance companies, physicians, hospitals, nurses, community resources, other health care specialists and the local community. Ensures continuity of care, smooth interaction and communication between all involved in patient care activities. In conjunction with the Director of Strategic Growth and Business Development and Practice Leadership, is responsible for development of neurosurgery in the general community. What you will do in this role: + Visits and establishes rapport and relationships with referral sources to include educational services and presentation of business plans + Supports and participates in the marketing functions to ensure engagement in community networking + Communicates progress of all activities to appropriate leaders + Responsible for identifying new markets to promote services to + Develop and nurture strong relationships with physicians to enhance loyalty, strengthen professional connections, and increase referral volumes. + Strategically design and execute outreach initiatives to generate new patient volumes. + Serve as a liaison, communicating feedback from external providers to the division office and internal leadership while ensuring follow-up actions are completed. + Organize and coordinate speaking engagements and business meetings to showcase the expertise of neurosurgical practice providers. + Partner with hospital systems to plan and facilitate CME (Continuing Medical Education) sessions and topics. + Support and oversee the referral management processes and platforms, ensuring prompt responses and thorough follow-up with referring providers. + Support call center team functions as needed + Serves as liaison between clinic and external agencies. + Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided. + Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices. + Maintains strictest confidentiality + Performs related work as required. + Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement. What qualifications you will need: + Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants, and course‐work in health care office management are preferred. RN, LPN (LVN), or additional appropriate education may be substituted for certification. + Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare services, marketing, business administration, hospital administration, or a related field. + Preferred: Experience in direct health sales or clinical settings EXPERIENCE: + Five years of clinical experience in a medical office setting is required including 2 years in a clinical management position. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: + MA or LPN is required. + CPR Certification.
